This is the most recent picture of my double viv from an old cabinet. The top section is ready for my Rough Green Snake when I pick it up and the bottom has my Pueblan Milksnake in it but he's hiding at the mo because he's going into shed. The plants are all fake courtesy of Dunelm Mill, they're cheeper than reptile and pet shops but I wouldn't know anyone who would want to put any of those plastic things as decor for their house!!! The top bulb is only 8watts allowing saving electric whilst the bottom bulb acts as a 'heat mat' for the top viv keeping a gradient of around 83f in the basking end whilst the green end is a 74f. The bulbin the bottom heats that viv and that is around th 85f mark dropping to 77f at the other end.

I think you do a good job yourself on the viv's mate. I think they become projects that tend to grab you and you always seek to improve on what you have already done! I'm captivated by it and always keep an eye for trophy cabinets now myself
