Native To The brown anole is native to Cuba, the Bahamas, and their satellite islands, and six subspecies occur throughout the Caribbean
Size Males are about 64 mm in snout-to-vent length females reach only about 48 mm
Diet small arthropods, annelids, and molluscs
Reproduction 1-2 eggs
Description The brown anole is a small Caribbean lizard that colonized south Florida and Mexico about 50-60 years ago, and more recently, Hawaii. The brown anole is thought to be responsible for a dramatic decline of previously stable urban and rural populations of the green anole, the only anole native to the United States.
