Right I was at work doing my usual routine (sitting about waiting for jobs to do) when one of my colleagues put the radio on. The news and weather were on and the person on the weather came out with "Tomorrow will be rain and the next few days after there will be proper rain" now whats the difference between "rain" and "proper rain" ?

maybe its the kind of rain that they listen out for at train stations - rain means the trains will run and proper rain means they wont hahaha

In my opinion proper rain is when it pours were as rain may mean sporadic drizzle.
Another Probability Theory me thinks.
