Red Spotted Newts
OR
Japanese Fire-Bellied Newts?

The answer is simple, get both!! They're both really cool and relatively simple to care for

lol sorry! I'm afraid you can't really keep them together. Not only are they from oposite ends of the world, they also release toxins that may be very harmful to each other.
If I had to choose, personally I'd go for fire bellied newts, but that's purely on appearence.

Personally I think that the Southern Pygmy Marbled Newt is the nicest looking newt.
But if i was to suggest one thats already mentioned I would have to say the fire bellied newt
