I think I've mentioned this either on another forum or in fact on this one because I'm having the strangest feeling of deja vu but I'll do it again anyway.
I was wondering if anyone enjoys photographing their animals. I know most people will say yes, but what kind of photo do you like taking? Close ups where you can see detail and colours more clearly than if from afar? Or emotional pictures where their expressions mean something? How about gruesome pictures like in our comp this month, Feeding Time! I was curious about it.
I, personally, am actually into photography and use my pets as practise (as seen in the mammals and birds section) but I prefer taking emotional pictures rather than closeups. Mainly because my lens on my camera is bad and blurs easily, but because of this I've chosen a harder route, to not take the easier option (in my opinion) of just snapping away closely and trying to get some emotion from an animal.
Just curious really as I've said, what are your opinions about photography and animals?

I do like to record my animals with pic. it's all to easy nowadays with digital cameras and PC's. I always have my camera ready just in case and whilst I do no profess to be any good the fact that you can snap away with out the expense of film means every now and again I get a good shot !

I enjoy photographing my animals ( it is a dream of mine to go around the world to places and take pics of animals in their envrionment) and my personal preferance is close ups using macro in order to pick up on details as well as coloration. I will try and catch them doing their natural thing at times as well if I can. A natural photo is the best is my opinion.

The Camera I use at the min is a Fuji finepix A330. its a good little camera. I mainly use it for the macro option as it allows me to get some really good close ups.

lol Kate's taking a little back seat until my other things are sorted I'm afraid lol However, I've just had a little fluff around with Paul's camera to see if my skills improve any with a macro cam. These are the results: Ghost Mack Snow : His big guy (the father of Kate's babies. I forget what morph he is because it's so long) My lovely Kate And last but not least. Bearded Dragon I like what I did with the light here... don't know what you think lol. Lemmie know!
