I'm absolutely terrified of spiders!! after 18 years of freakin out over them, i kind thought to myself the other day that i'd love to have a small tarantula. of course i couldnt because everytime i see a spider i go in2 sheer panic.
anyone got any advice as to how i could overcome my fear?

I would say speak to lee on this one lol ;D
You could always buy your own spider and start from scratch with handling. Chile Rose Tarantulas are meant to be a good species for handling so I've heard.

it will take time so is best to first meet a spider in a shop or zoo before letting one in your home so you know if you feel comfortable as Paul said chilean rose are very small tame tarantulas and with them being quite easy to maintain too it is the best choice but if you looking for something more colourful then a pink toe is a nice addition
