I got my leos the other day, and the bloke said not to feed them on crickets, use meal worms instead. He said that crickets can cause diseases. they seem happy enough with the meal worms, although iv not atually seen them eat yet.
Might buy them some wax worms for a treat, see if i can see them eat then. lol.
What do you guys feed your leos?
O and in the calcuim dish, shoudl it be pure calcium or calcuim with vits?

I use mealworms and waxies with mine. Obviously waxies as a treat.
for the calcium dish try and get hold of some pure calcium. The stuff like nutrobal is good but i find its not as effective.
I'll forward you to someone i know who sells pure calcium.

mine occaisionally eat mealworms, they are not too fussed about them to be honest, they have waxies about once a week but only a few. they mainly eat locusts as they are slower than crickets, be careful with the back legs though as they are serated. you can take them off before you put in the viv but mine love their locusts, just get the appropriate size and remember that variety is best - and relieves boredom in feeding!

I feed mine on crickets, used to use hoppers and I prefer them because they didn't make loads of noise but when she wasn't with me she was used to black crickets. Although now she's laying she's not too interested in anything but waxies lol. I'm not too keen on meal worms due to previous experiences, plus they smell something awful
