just under 2 weeks ago, i went to get my BCI out of her viv and i noticed her jaw was very swollen i had her out previously the day before and she was fine so it must have come up very fast overnight i called my vets straight away and got an appointment he said it looked as though she had an infection in her lower gum possibly through loosing a tooth through feding she had some antibiotics and fluids he wanted to see her 3 days later so after 3 days with no improvement she went back and had a different type of antibiotics and more fluids 3 days later there was a little improvement we took her back for a second jab and more fluids during this time she came into shed and it has been coming of really oddly its like clear pieces of clingdilm and the new scales underneath look more like old wrinkled skin and her underbelly is very red amd looks sore she went to the vets again today and the vet has decided he wants to keep her in and he is going to put a camera down her throat and flush her out as he isnt happy with her improvement and belives she may have an internal infection im worried sick and terrified on what it might be i have to ring up toorrow at 11am to find out has anyone else ever had this problem if so what was the outcome?
