how much food do you get from a 50g tub of t-rex crested gecko diet MRP.

it says online that you mix it 2 to 1 powder to water, so what would you get in total?

1 tub of CGD lasts me about 2 months, i have 3 cresties and they get CGD, Crickets, Fresh Fruit - not citrus! (in blender with a touch of honey! they love it) alternating every 2 days...so 1 day CGD...2 days later Crickets etc, some people only feed CGD which is fine as it contains everything they need but they like hunting too so i give them a variety.

Very good advice there Tiger, I don't keep cresties but with just a little bit on their diet and I may look into getting them (I like blending things)

hehe i have mucho fun with the blender! as long as the fruit is not citrus you can use any and try lots of different combinations. Cresties do love bananas but only give as a treat as this can up their potassium levels. Calcium:Potassium levels should be 2:1

So what kind of fruits do you use exactly? And are there things you should avoid giving them ( Kinda like with iggys)

Cresties eat a variety of fruit including banana, mango, apple, pear, apricots, passionfruit, strawberries, kiwi fruit etc they like sweet and soft fruit. You can also mix a blend of these up and add a little honey. You must of course add calcium to one of the foods that you give them once a week. Avoid citrus fruits as these are acidic. A variety of fruit,crickets and CGD along with calicum dusting are a good nutritious diet for your Crestie

hiya what is cgd? i love crested geckos. And am thinking of getting some at some point. so im trying to reaserch as much as i can. Are they expencive also? And do they like waterfalls for the viv?
