I've been trying to breed my normal leo but she doesn't seem to be wanting any of it. Not sure what the problem is. My other half is more of a reptile expert and he's a little stumped too. She's probably just not in the mood, or doesn't fancy the male.

We had Kate in with my large male mack snow. We watched them for the first few minutes to make sure no fighting broke out. They went ahead with the rituals (tails vibrating, body nipping) but then it just went quiet. No signs of any mounting on the males behalf. Later we checked them to see if he was having a go and found she was in one corner of the tank and he was on the opposite side. I had guessed they had done it but they hadn't I've recently had her in with my male again for at least 3-4 days on end and yet again she's not allowing him near her and he just sits back and accepts it. Its confusing because I've spent time trying to figure out whether it is because Kate is already gravid (which at one point we thought she was but she hasn't given off any signs of digging etc)or that Kate was a hot female which is also unlikely. So a total mystery. We know the male is ready to breed as he's been at it at another female. and they're both well weighted Male: 90gFemale: 77gTemps are perfect as well so there isn't any probs there. Just cant figure out why she is holding back and so far no one else seems to have experienced this. Well if they have they're not giving any clue as to why it is happening.
