wow that burms a monster mate what size viv do you keep these beasties in? id rather hear it from actual keeper like yourself rather than pulled off net or speulation as its so conflicting ive found thanks for sharing your pics of such an awesome snake Lee

there is a lot of controversial advice on the net regards to the viv size these guys need, as a rule of thumb I like to provide a viv which is at least half the length of the snake. the Burm vivs are 12 ft x 2 ft x 3 ft. I do exercise them at least twice a week either in the house or if the weather is fine out in the Garden.

wow thats an impressive sized snake . would you honestly reccomend them to people as pets? or would you say they're for experienced keepers?

Nice to see a fit streamlined burm for a change, I get fed-up with seeing fat obese 12ft plus slugs one after the other. Well done that man :-)

Thanks for the comments, I have a real problem with all those massively over weight Burms, especially from the USA where a culture has developed to produce really obese animals, one owner was feeding his Burm a 70 lb pig every fortnight ! Like all Burms mine will eat until the cows come home, however Once they reach a good length I limit their feeding to one large item a month with the occasional rat or guinea pig as a treat. Exercise is also a key to keeping them in good shape so a large viv and the opportunity to free roam (under supervision) keeps them a bit trimmer.
