Got bitten 3 times today by a yellow anaconda! If I had to get bitten by something, I'm glad it was something notorius lol

the first two didn't hurt or bleed, but the third time it decided to hang on so I had to pour a bit of mouthwash on it's nose lol.

did it hurt? are people allowed to keep them snakes? arn't they huge? Yellow anacondas are a smaller species. They grow up to around 12 feet. Green anacondas are the larger species and grow up to 26+ feet. and yes you are allowed to keep them but it is advised that experienced keepers have them.

wow 26 ft snake, i would be very scared, i like corns and kings, even jungle carpet pythons, but big snakes!!!! scare me alot. it could eat u!!!

ahhh how nice of it...mouthwash lol yeah, I've got a stash of mouthwash and stella at work in case I get bitten and the snake won't let go. They don't like the taste of mint or alcohol. I tend to put the mouthwash on teh snake then have the beer for myself afterwards tho!!

A friend of mine has a 14ft green as a shop pet ... evil be-aitch but not as evil as the 8ft alligator though :-)

an 8ft alligator? wow that must take up some space . I only remember going to a pet shop when i was in college and their "shop pet" was a dwarf caiman.

Shop pets are an 8ft alligator called Elvis, a 14ft green anaconda, two 16ft burmese, 2 adult rhino iguana's and a 2ft alligator snapper :-)
